Castel San Pietro Terme features in the “Strada dei vini e dei sapori dei colli d’Imola” network (food and wine trail), that covers a distance of about 200 kilometres with its borders being the hills and valleys of the rivers Santerno, Sillaro and Sellustra. The trail highlights ten towns and suggests visits to the Regional Wine Cellar situated in the fortified Palazzo Malvezzi in Dozza, a range of restaurants and pubs, Comellini for typical dairy products such as the squacquerone and Castel San Pietro cheese and La Piana for the famous local honey; not to be missed is a visit to Umberto Cesari producer of Romagna DOC wines.
